Interesting and challenging position

Compliance Engineering are located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our compliance testing facilities cater for a broad range of testing services including EMC, environmental, vibration, shock, impact and ingress. Many of the services we perform are included in our scope of international accreditation under A2LA (ILAC).

Compliance Engineering also manufacture and supply RF shielded enclosures used in telecommunications, defence and medical applications

A new work integrated learning placement has been created within the organization for a student needing professional development hours to graduate. There is scope for this placement to become a permanent position at Compliance Engineering should the student show the correct acumen for the role.

The position will involve the testing of electrical and electronic products against reference standards, preparing test reports and assisting with the manufacture and installation of RF shielded enclosures.

Ideally you will have (or be nearing completion) of formal studies in an Electronics Engineering Degree.

The position would suit a candidate who has the following attributes:

> Sound electronics knowledge

> Familiar with RF and electronic test equipment

> Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools

> Computer literate (MS Word & Excel) with good report writing skills

> Excellent written and verbal communication skills

> Self motivated, reliable and able to demonstrate initiative

> Able to work well independently and as part of a small team

> Hold Permanent Australian residency and have a drivers license

> Being exposed to the differing needs of customers including maintenance of production documents and ensuring they are properly kept and available to end users.
> Gaining a fuller appreciation of industry standards and their implementation in production and quality testing
