Radio Frequency R&D Technician

As an R&D Technician Intern at ZCG Scalar, you will work closely with our skilled engineers and technicians to support the research, development, and testing of new and existing antenna products. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will gain valuable insights into antenna design, testing procedures, and the development of new technologies, across a wide array of RF solution supported industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, testing, and development of new antenna prototypes and products.
• Support R&D engineers in conducting experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and schematics for projects.
• Assist in the assembly, calibration, and testing of antennas in the laboratory and field.
• Perform measurements using RF (radio frequency) test equipment, including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to identify potential areas of improvement for existing products.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment and ensure the proper operation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues under supervision.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of RF principles and antenna theory is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory tools and equipment (network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
